Heating Instructions

The plate must be heated slowly to reduce the risk of thermal shock and cracking. Start with low heat and increase the temperature gradually in stages. Never place a cold or damp plate directly onto intense heat.

Once heated, lightly brush the surface with oil if required and place the ingredients directly on the slab. The entire plate becomes extremely hot, so always use heat-resistant gloves, suitable utensils and a strong heat-safe support.

Cleaning and Care

Allow the plate to cool completely before cleaning. Scrape away food residue, then wipe it with a damp cloth or rinse it very briefly using minimal water. Never soak the plate or clean it with soap, detergent or in a dishwasher. Dry it immediately and store it in a cool, dry place.
