Hypothyroidism occurs when the thyroid gland does not produce enough hormones, so the way the body consumes energy is affected. Hypothyroidism, unlike hyperthyroidism, represents the inability of the thyroid to produce thyroid hormones.
Symptoms associated with hypothyroidism are fatigue, depression, muscle or joint pain, dry hair and skin, weight gain, muscle cramps, sensitivity to cold, constipation or bradycardia (slow pulse). If hypothyroidism is not treated in time, the symptoms can become more severe. More memory loss, slowing of thought processes or frequent depressive states may occur. Constant stimulation of the thyroid gland with treatments that produce more hormones can lead to enlargement of the thyroid (goiter).
The thyroid gland is located on the midline of the neck, in the lower half. It is a small organ, which does not exceed 20 grams. However, the hormones they secrete are essential for growth and metabolism, having a direct impact on all functions of the human body, such as heart rate, cholesterol levels, body weight, energy, muscle contraction and relaxation, skin and hair texture, intestinal motility, fertility, memory and mood.
The functioning of the thyroid gland is influenced by changes in the level of estrogen in the body, which is why women are more prone to thyroid diseases, unlike men.
Iodine contributes to the normal production of thyroid hormones and to the normal functioning of the thyroid gland. Do not use simultaneously with other products with high iodine content.

- 5–10 εργάσιμες ημέρες για να παραλάβουμε την επιστροφή σας από τον μεταφορέα,
- 3–5 εργάσιμες ημέρες για να επεξεργαστούμε την επιστροφή σας μόλις παραληφθεί,
- 5–10 εργάσιμες ημέρες για να επεξεργαστεί η τράπεζά σας το αίτημα επιστροφής.
